The South East Woodworking and Power tool show took place at The Kent County Showground March 7th/8th 2014.
Our club had a presence at the show to support Demelza House charity and to present our club to the woodturning world.
We met some very nice people and also some nice people.
Our Charity raffle consisted of four prizes for which thanks must go to Graham Holcroft for his set of three candlesticks, Howard Overton for his two dishes which were much admired and
Andy Coates for his Acme nut box.
The raffle made approx. £180.00 and sale of work approx. £170.00.
Great fun was had with the puzzles on sale. Especially with Mrs Tony Wilson who was our ambassador round the show.
Much thanks must go to Bert for organising us.
Keith Leonard, Pat Hughes, Dawn Royall and Steve Tredwell for demonstrating but especially Dawn who removed all traces of us ever having being there.
